Pat & Ian's Permablitz
What a great turn out 35 people in attendance, lots of work done, most projects finished. Key hole herb garden, orchard pruned and mulched, raised garden bed foundation, Vegie bed's weeded, new chicken run surface near raised garden bed prepared. Lots of trees and shrubs pruned.
Great food , great social atmosphere, lots of dedicated Permie's from all over Ballarat and surrounding Districts ( Dayleford Bannockburn Garabaldi,Broomfield)
Glasshouse Blitz!
At John Ditchburn's place, learning about using a Glasshouse to extend your growing season!

Mick's Permabiltz
Good turnout on the day, great weather, excellent lunch.We had one new participant Marie who worked hard all day weeding and was very impressed with the permablitz process. Her idea was to try and help some of the elderly aroungd Ballarat to be able to stay on there larger properties in there own neighbourhood with help from guys like us . I learned some good information that will help me with pruning my fruit trees next year to produce a better yeild.

Saturday the 16th of July 2011"Steve Burns this album is the swale building work - the photos aren't in the right order (doh!) but you get the idea... BIG thanks to the hard workers on Sunday... note large line of people going off to lunch and much smaller line at the end of the day... those there at the end get special pats on the back!
