Karen's little Blitz

The Plan

You did such a great job last time I'd like you to help me with my front yard!
It's really a "little" blitz by comparison with the last one and the space is much smaller, so I've had to limit the number of people this time around or you'll be falling over one another ... 12-15 is probably 5 too many but people come and go at blitzes so -

I'd love your help with:
  • Levelling my front yard to do away with the "swamp effect" at certain times of year
  • Building a raised wicking bed across the front of my porch
  • Making a little levee bank to divert the water from the street into a drain rather than into the aforementioned "swamp"
  • Planting a mini hedge of Chilean Guava on the levee
  • Planting a bunch of nice waving grasses round the letterbox and along the front
  • … and a few other jobs if there is time and willing helpers.
Please bring along your own gloves and weather-suitable work clothes.

While there are some tools and equipment in the permablitz trailer, feel free to bring along your own favourite things, such as wheelbarrow, shovel, spirit level, crow bar, mattock, etc.
