Do you have a project in mind that other people could benefit from watching on, as you work on it? Perhaps you are about to create a hugelbed, build a dehydrator, or make a batch of pasta. Whatever the exercise, people will benefit from your skills.
A skill share generally runs for a couple hours. Even if it is a larger project, worked on over several days, people can come along and watch at different stages. People interested in watching on can also sometimes get involved in the process. This can assist with the overall concept of sharing knowledge and process.
Usually a skill share is an informal event, perhaps with a post being put up on our Facebook page, or word of mouth.
Sharing of skills and knowledge is an important part of the permaculture principles.
