There’s nothing like a blitz to see your ideas come to fruition. Lisa has seen first hand what a dramatic difference a blitz can make in an effort to move ourselves toward a more sustainable future. So, she’s holding her own!
- The creation of a new garden bed. Double layers of cardboard will need to be laid over existing grass area (which will have been mowed), followed by straw, then soil. Then the planting begins. Edging may also need to be laid around the boundary of the garden.
- Some roses will need to be dug up and removed to another part of the garden, and that garden bed weeded.
- Digging holes and planting additional wattles & gums along the boundary fence to add to the existing wind break.
Wet weather footwear is advisable as it may be boggy underfoot. And some warm clothing is advisable.
Lunch will be supplied (self-catering advised for any special dietary requirements)
