Lindsay's Blitz

Lidsay's blitz was held on Saturday 20th October, 10 am – 4 pm

Lindsay has a larger property at Grenville with the potential to be very productive.
Pat's report - (from FB)
The weather today was perfect for the monthly blitz! Numbers were a little down, probably due to the wonderful weather but another gutsy effort by all who could make it. Lindsay now has a water tank cleared of blackberries and weeds and planted up with some different varieties of passion fruit and rhododendrons. Unusual combo but will look stunning in the future. A '4 hour long' swale was incorporated to assist drainage around the orchard with the help of a rotary hoe and a large cold frame was constructed for seed raising, so quite a bit was achieved. Many thanks to all who attended and made this another successful day.

Jayne & Craig’s blitz - 16-09-2012
